FAQ
What type of patients does Cardio 1 see?
We see patients with a wide range of heart conditions and patients with metabolic conditions such as diabetes
How do I see a physician at Cardio 1?
Either have your current physician or have one of our physicians at LifeSmart Medical send a referral letter to our team at Cardio 1. From there, our clinic will call you and confirm an appointment with one of our specialists. CLICK HERE for our referral form.
How long is your wait list?
Our wait list varies and depends on a number of factors. If there is a lot of testing required prior to your appointment, it may take longer to get in to see our team.
However, one of our primary goals is to reduce wait times for patients with all cardio-metabolic conditions and we believe our clinic will do just that.
What makes your clinic different than other community clinics?
We focus on a patient-centered, team approach to managing your care. This means we focus on using guidelines to create structured programs that provide patients with better care. We have an entire clinical team that manages your care, including nursing, educators, physicians, and clinical pharmacists. You may not see every care provider each visit, but you can be sure each patient is being managed by our team.
